Little Flower School, Dhanewa, Maharajganj, UP is under the religious jurisdiction of the Catholic Bishop of Gorakhpur and is directly governed and administered by the Catholic Diocese of Gorakhpur Education Society which is a registered Society under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 Vide Reg. No. 1404/84 - 85 and is a Christian Minority Institution and enjoys all the rights and privileges as enshrined and guaranteed under the relevant provisions of the Indian Constitution. The School is a Co-Educational LFSMInstitution and the Medium of Instruction is English. Hindi and Punjabi are also given prime of importance and the students are taught it from pre primary level. Having governed and managed under the aegis of the Catholic Church, the school has been set up for the primary objective of imparting education to the children of Christian Community. However the School is equally disposed to render service to students of other communities also irrespective of caste, creed, religion, culture or language so as to conserve and pursue their faith, language and culture with all freedom and liberty. The School was founded on the 8th July 1996 in response to the long felt need for such an institution and on the request of the people of Maharajganj. It is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi.
